Notices

Notices provide a way for upper-level staff and adviser(s) to quickly get out important information to all or part of the staff, like a huge announcement posted on the wall (but easier to read and more efficient).

View Notices

1) New notices are highlighted in red at the top as another means of alerting the staffers.
2) Unread notices are highlighted in bold on this page.

Add/Edit/Delete Notices

1) When adding a notice, the user can choose the notice recipients from a list — or select group recipients, ex. section editors.
2) The notice editor is much like Microsoft Word, giving the user the ability to further customize notices and draw attention to their content.
3) Pop-up alerts come up whenever a recipient logs in (or refreshes a page), telling them that a new notice has arrived.
4) "Force reads" enable the notice-poster to force all recipients to be immediately redirected to read the notice.
5) After a notice has been posted, it is simple to go back and view, edit, or delete it (and all previous notices).

Read Notice

When reading a notice, all recipients are shown along with the notice content and information.
